Lights
CatEye is one of the most trusted names in cycling lights, and it's the brand at the core of our lights range. From dependable everyday front and rear lights to USB rechargeable sets built for regular commuting, our CatEye collection is chosen to cover the essentials properly rather than overwhelm you with choice.
Front & Rear Lights
A solid front and rear light is the foundation of safe, visible riding. Our CatEye front lights range from compact everyday beams to brighter options for darker roads, while our rear lights are built for strong, reliable visibility from behind — exactly what you need to be seen in traffic or on unlit routes.
Rechargeable Lights
Skip the disposable batteries. Our USB rechargeable CatEye lights offer longer runtimes and lower running costs — ideal if you're riding regularly and want one less thing to think about before heading out.
Light Sets
For the simplest way to get properly equipped, our CatEye light sets pair a front and rear light together at a better combined price than buying separately.
Spares & Accessories
Brackets, mounts, clips and replacement parts to keep your existing CatEye lights running — because a light that's out of action because of one missing bracket is no light at all.
CatEye Bike Light FAQs
Do I legally need bike lights in the UK?
Yes — UK law requires a white front light and a red rear light when cycling on the road between sunset and sunrise, along with a red rear reflector.
Are flashing bike lights legal?
Yes, flashing front and rear lights are legal in the UK provided they flash at a rate of 60 to 240 times per minute.
How bright should my bike lights be?
For well-lit urban riding and commuting, 100–300 lumens is usually enough to be seen. For unlit roads, aim for 500 lumens or more to properly light your way.
Rechargeable or battery-powered — which should I choose?
Rechargeable lights cost less to run over time and suit regular riders best. Battery-powered lights are a good backup option or for occasional use.
